About our 2nd Annual Blake's Purpose Golf Tournament... We held our 2nd Annual Blake's Purpose golf classic on October 17th, 2008. The event was a huge success despite our weak economy which makes us feel even more blessed. Our final numbers show that we raised $252,000 with sponsorships and our auction items. Everyone's hard work and dedication allowed us to achieve a first class event and we couldn't have done it without all of our volunteers and sponsors. At the present time we are talking with Beverly Davidson from the University of Iowa about funding her gene therapy research so we can have success and bring it to clinical trials in the near future. We will keep everyone updated on the progress of this research.
